We are looking for Maintenance Mechanics to join our team and assist both LA County and OC County facilities. We have 1st shift available and 2nd shift with premium pay.

Position Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair various machines/equipment.
Comply with all safety requirements and/or procedures.
Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
Must be able to use a time clock system effectively (punch in / out).
Must be able to communicate safety hazards when observed.
Follow all instructions provided by the department manager of designee.
Must be able to perform the functions of the maintenance helper when needed.
Able to troubleshoot machine malfunctions that may occur with CNC, Non-CNC, hydraulic presses, etc. equipment.
Basic knowledge of machine/equipment electrical components.
Maintain and complete records of installation and maintenance repairs orders.
Able to communicate machine/equipment repair status.
Research machine/equipment repair components or parts.
Must be able to operate the company’s powered industrial equipment (forklifts).
Must be able to operate the company’s aerial work platform (scissor lifts).
Must be able to maintain acceptable company housekeeping standards at all times.
Must be able to perform minor plumbing repairs and electrical repairs.
Must be able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Experience/Training/Education requirements:

High school diploma or General education diploma (GED).
Two years of progressive skilled maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Experience with Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER).
Experience with hazardous waste management.
Must be able to read and interpret chemical Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Basic knowledge of industrial plumbing repair (water line, toilet fixtures, sink fixtures, etc.)
Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and program logic controllers (PLC).

Skills and Attributes:

Strong machine/equipment problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
Basic knowledge of plumbing and facilities repairs.
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.
Basic knowledge of electrical components (potential exposure to 0 – 480 volts).
Basic knowledge of automation systems (Robotics).
Basic knowledge of the environment and regulatory agency compliance.
Adheres to company-established safety rules and regulations.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must adhere to department housekeeping standards at all times.
Must be able to maintain an acceptable level of job/task productivity.
Must be able to function with minimal supervision.

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs. Salary Range: $25-45 hourly. Relocation assistance not available and we are only considering local candidates.
